Highlights - The jungle derives its name from goddess Tipai - Presence of a wide range of Herbivores, right from the common ones like Chital, Nilgai etc. to some lesser seen ones like Black-bucks - The jungle is a home to a healthy breeding population of Tigers. The Footloose Factor Offers travelers an opportunity to explore the complexities of human wildlife coexistence in a landscape shared by both people and large predators. Through insightful discussions and expert perspectives, participants gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and realities of conservation in regions where wildlife and local communities live in close proximity. Drawing from experiences in the Tipeshwar landscape, this session highlights the social, ecological, and management considerations involved in addressing human wildlife interactions, while fostering a greater appreciation for the efforts required to ensure the long term survival of both wildlife and local livelihoods.
