No. Rerooted Travel is where you find and compare responsible journeys — the booking itself happens directly with the operator running the trip, and we take no commission on what you pay.
Does booking direct cost more?
No. You pay the operator their own price, with no booking platform taking a cut in between.
What does it mean that an operator is verified?
Every operator listed with us is audited against the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) framework, across four pillars: sustainable management, environmental management, socio-economic benefit and cultural sustainability.
What do the Gold, Silver and Bronze tiers mean?
Gold means top marks across all four GSTC pillars, Silver a strong performance across them, and Bronze that the operator meets our baseline on each.
Can an itinerary be changed to suit me?
Usually, yes. Send an enquiry from any itinerary page and the operator will tailor the route, pace or dates.
Where do your journeys take place?
Most audited operators work across India and Nepal, and we add verified operators in new regions as they complete the audit.
